  1. SHAREWARE BASE version 1.30 March 25/92
  2. Fully working ready to load up database for the ACE show 
  3. if needed. With the upgrades included in the upcoming release
  4. of HyperLINK 2, I feel much more confident that this will 
  5. be the lasting Version of Shareware Base, as any addition
  6. should be much easier to make.

  10. Try double clicking on the programs in SHARWARE.HAP and the 
  11. authors in PROGRAMS.HAP .
  12.  
  13. There is also an elementary Report Generator routines to 
  14. make a catalog or mailing list of your favorite author.
  15. Simply use the included .RPT use templates for creating
  16. your own custom print-out. Right-click to start.

  18. NOTE: the first 8 characters in the authors name and in the 
  19. programs name must be up to <FILENAME> standards. 
  20. i.e. no illegal characters or spaces.

  22. Also, if are a SHAREWARE other either want to be in this
  23. database or correct something, please let me know.

  40. 1.22 -> 1.30 
  41. Upgrades made this version mean that past files DBF,DBH, & NDX
  42. are not usuable. Old database files must converted to use 
  43. the extra field.
  44. Changed the text link so that it access 1 text file and 
  45. searches for AUTHOR/PROGRAMS in SHARWARE.TXT/PROGRAMS.TXT 
  46. instead of many small files.

  49. Fix the indexing problem. There was a problem with the 
  50. indexing files created for it, you would need to erase 
  51. all the NDX and DBH files and remake them, before using 
  52. the linking process correctly.
  53. In the PROGRAMS.HAP the PROGRAMS index is on the field
  54. PROGRAM, it should be on field PROGRAMS. Plus the linking
  55. indexes between the HAP's were called FIND, an old command
  56. I typed in from the originals (my backups) thinking that the 
  57. entries AUTHORS and PROGRAMS were mistakes.
  58. Added Sound to SHARWARE.HAP too!
  59. Added Fields[FNAME].[EXT] to easily find the files later.
